What we collect, and why
The newsletter and the waitlist. When you sign up you give us your email address and, if you want, your first name. We use them for one thing: sending you the updates you asked for. Signup runs on double opt-in, and every email we send has an unsubscribe link that works immediately. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
The shop and memberships. When you buy something or take a membership we collect the data needed to fulfil your order: name, email, billing address and your order history. Payments are handled by our payment provider Mollie; we never see or store your card or bank details. Legal basis: performance of a contract, and legal (tax) obligations for keeping order records.
Accounts. If you have an account on this site we store your login email and your membership status so the site knows what to show you.
Mail you send us. If you write to us, we keep the correspondence for as long as it takes to deal with it properly.
Who processes it for us
Our website and mailing list run on Hostinger (hosting, email and the Reach mailing system). Payments run through Mollie B.V. (Amsterdam). Orders and memberships run in WooCommerce on our own site. These parties process data on our behalf and are not allowed to use it for their own purposes. We do not sell your data, we do not hand it to advertisers, and we do not run third-party ad tracking on this site.
How long we keep it
List data (newsletter, waitlist): until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you. Order and invoice data: seven years, because Dutch tax law requires it. Account data: for as long as the account exists.
Cookies
This site uses functional cookies that the shop and the login need to work (for example your cart and your session). We do not use advertising cookies.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to see the data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to hand it over to you in a portable format. Mail hello@theinfamousher.rocks and we will sort it out. If you feel we have not treated your data properly, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new date at the top.
